Juan Hernandez

Vendor Relations

Juan began his real estate career as a Loan Officer in 2001. Since then, he has held various positions, including Master Property Manager, HUD Certified Housing Counselor, Realtor, Transaction Coordinator, Loan Processor, Notary, and Office Manager. He has worked as a Loan Officer for a local Credit Union and Direct Lenders, and has been licensed with several Real Estate Brokers. Throughout Juan's journey, he has closely collaborated with Title, Escrow, Underwriters, Private Money Lenders, Investors, General Contractors, and many Vendors. This experience has provided him with extensive knowledge, expertise, and a bit of wisdom. Juan has had the privilege of training and mentoring numerous staff members and co-created and presented First-Time Homebuyer seminars.

For more than half of Juan's career, he's had the pleasure of working alongside Clint Worland, one of the founding partners of NXT Vacation Rentals. Clint has played a pivotal role in Juan's professional and personal development, serving as an exceptional mentor and a dear friend. Juan joined NXT because of the culture which prioritizes fairness, resourcefulness, and the needs of its clients.  Managing a property involves many moving parts and requires a collaborative team effort to achieve excellence. Even the experienced homeowners can find this process intimidating and frustrating. Juan's objective is to be a reliable resource, go beyond the call  of duty, and unite the team to handle the heavy lifting, ensuring all guests have the experience of a lifetime at one of NXT's managed properties.

Juan graduated from Southwestern College in Chula Vista. He was born in LA and then raised in Tijuana. Juan has been privileged to have great mentors in life beginning with his parents, both of whom are first generation immigrants who sacrificed much to provide their family with the best opportunity for success and the American Dream. When he's not working, you can find Juan serving at his church, participating in local community events, working out at one of the local gyms, hiking, playing sports with loved ones, or fishing along our beautiful San Diego coastline. Juan feels immensely grateful to call San Diego my home.
